U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship: Thirty $1000 scholarships randomly awarded. No essay, no minimum GPA, just register online at www.usbank.com/studentbanking
· Anycollege.com Scholarship: $2000 scholarship randomly awarded for any student grades 9-12. Given out four times a year. Register online at www.anycollege.com/scholarship.cfm
· KFC Colonel’s Scholarship: Up to $20,000. Minimum GPA of 2.75 and must plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Applications available at www.kfcscholars.org. Deadline February
· Burger King Scholarship Program: Many $1000 scholarships for students who work at least 15 hours a week, have a GPA of at least 2.5, demonstrate financial need, and are involved in community service activities. Apply online at www.bk.com/scholars Deadline: February
· American Legion National President’s Scholarship: Must be a descendant of a veteran. Deadline: March
· FRS Scholarship: Thirty $2500+ scholarships given to rural students. Applications available at www.frs.org . Deadline: March
· Kohl’s Kids Who Care Scholarship: 3000 awards of various amounts will be given to students who have volunteered. Applications available at www.kolskida.com . Deadline : March
· Best Buy Scholarship: $1,000 - $1,500 scholarships given out from Best Buy. Applications available beginning January (at Best Buy).
· McDonald’s Employee Scholarship: $1,000 scholarships given out to student-employees of McDonalds. The program starts January 1 and ends March.
