Greeting to My BTW Family,
My name is Mr. Norman Jeffery Williams, Jr. I have been an educator, teaching and providing students’ leadership skills since 2003. I am presently the assistant principal at Booker T. Washington High School. Successfully educating children is a big responsibility. However, I feel that every child should be afforded the opportunity to receive the best education possible. I strive to provide students with opportunities to gain an understanding of self and others, to participate in educational explorations, and to pursue career planning opportunities in an environment that is safe, caring, and encouraging.
I understand that in order to provide the best opportunities for the students of Macon County, I must first prepare myself through continuous professional development. A good education is very important to me. I am a 1999 graduate of Francis Marion High School. I hold certifications in Elementary Education (grades k-6) and Educational Administration (grades P-12). I am a proud hornet of The Alabama State University. I have completed many graduate courses at Auburn Montgomery and Troy University. I love working with my students and I am proud to be a part of the faculty and staff at Booker T. Washington High School where "We believe that all students can achieve".
Norman Williams
Assistant Principal
