If you are an African American high school student, interested in the field of Engineering, there is an opportunity to participate in a summer institute at Howard University. The program was developed in partnership with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and Howard University to engage area students interested in Engineering. The program is approximately 6 weeks ( July and August) and provides an opportunity for youth to gain academic and functional experience. In addition to the academic exposure the participant will receive a stipend upon completion of the program; and the top performers of the class well be granted an opportunity to study at RPI located in Troy, NY.
