Library Hours:

Open every day M-F
7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Also open during lunch

The library at Booker T. Washington High School is staffed by one certified library media specialist. Scheduled classes, students for ACT/SAT/ASVAB study sessions, and students completing class projects make up most of the patron visits on a daily basis.

After school study and tutoring:

• Tuesday - Thursday 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Quiet time for study help
• Computers available for school work

During class time:

• Teachers may sign up to bring classes to library. This will be done on a first come first serve basis.
• Library use and visitation must be included in the teacher's lesson plan and a collaboration form completed prior to visit.
• Individual students may use the library, room permitting, only with signed, dated pass from classroom teacher

Please email Dr. Bettis at bettiscm@maconk12.org to reserve time in the library during school hours and to be placed on the library calendars.  If you need the library after school, please reserve through the principal, Mrs. Brelinda C. Sullen.
