Macon County School District has embarked upon several new endeavors over the past few years. The endeavors include, but are not limited to the following:
SREB - Southern Regional Eduation Board
LDC - Literacy Design Collaborative
MDC - Math Design Collaborative
Participation in partnership/sponsorship of curricular activies to include:
Wehle Center in Bullock County - Auburn University
District and State Spelling Bee
Macon County Water Festival - Macon County Forestry Planning Commission
Classroom in the Forest adn More - Tuskegee National Forest
