DeAsia Floyd is the January Student of the Month.  She is a third grade student at D. C. Wolfe Elementary School.  DeAsia is a member of the D.C. Wolfe Elementary School Honor Society and has been an honor student for the past three years.  DeAsia's extra-curricular activities include the Blair and Clair Dance Group, and Wind and Fire Ministries where she actively participates in the church choir.  She was chosen to represent her school because she is a model student who is respectful of her peers and herself.  She exemplifies great character and possesses outstanding leadership abilities. DeAsia is also described as a bright young student who always greets others with a wholesome smile and loves to motivate and encourage others to do their best work.
